The fifth annual SXSW Accelerator will take place March 11-13 at the 2013 SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. A live audience, as well as a panel of expert judges will be discovering advancements in Music-Related Technology. The best part? Product demonstrations by the most ambitious talents in the world with the most creative new ideas to change it. Catch a glimpse of the industry's future, with a guided tour by our emcees and judges.
This competition will be unlike any other. On Wednesday, March 13, eight music technology companies battle for taste-making, trend-setting attention, leading to a fireworks display of innovation. Connections will be made and careers launched. Later that day, the top three companies will be invited back, and the winners of SXSW Music Accelerator will be announced that evening.
The SXSW Music Accelerator follows the SXSW Interactive Accelerator event which will happen with over two full days of programming on Monday, March 11 to Tuesday, March 12 with forty-eight Interactive technology startups pitching their products or services.

How to Attend
The March 13 portion of SXSW Music Accelerator is open to Music and Platinum badgeholders. If you are in Austin before this date, the March 11-12 Interactive portion of SXSW Accelerator is open to Interactive, Gold, and Platinum badge holders.
Location
The March 13 portion of SXSW Music Accelerator occurs at the Austin Convention Center. If you are in Austin on March 13 and you have a SXSW Music or SXSW Platinum badge, please join us.
