Texas Monthly Magazine brought together the old and the new at their garage rock showcase at the Continental Club. Coinciding with a feature in their magazine and a daytime panel during SXSW, the showcase featured Texas garage rock bands from the 60's, like Kenny and The Kasuals and Mouse and the Traps, and partnered them with modern bands such as The Ugly Beats and Shapes Have Fangs in a celebration of the classic garage rock sound.
